Todd Morley
Co-Founder of Guggenheim Partners and CEO of Diatoms Inc.
Todd is Founder and Chairman of Diatoms, Inc. J. Todd Morley co-founded investment firm Guggenheim Partners LLC in 1999, which now has over $335 billion in assets under management. He served on the Guggenheim Board of Directors as well as on its Executive Committee.
Most recently, Todd is the Founder and Chairman of Diatoms, Inc., a technology/infrastructure finance company, driving progress and innovation through structured finance, tested technologies, strong counterparties and private capital to solve the world’s largest environmental challenges. He is a Board Member of Acelen, the 2nd largest fossil oil refinery in Brazil. He also just launched a major green fuel initiative with Acelen Renewables, a company utilizing agricultural products only known to Brazil. In addition, Todd has extensive experience with life and annuity companies, acting as a substantial Shareholder and Board Member of Delaware Life (2018 – 2023), EPIC Insurance Company, and most recently, a joint venture with long-standing partners Jack and Gary Nicklaus, to bring insurance to global Nicklaus golf and hospitality platforms. Prior to this, Todd was CEO of Links Holdings LLC, a company he founded in 1996 to originate, trade and manage all forms of mortgage assets.
Prior to that, he founded Mortgages Plc, a London-based sub-prime mortgage lender, as a joint venture between Merrill Lynch and The Mortgage Operation. Additionally, he was a Managing Director in mortgage sales at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and he was a Vice President in Lehman Brothers’ Taxable Fixed-Income Department.
